On the 11th of November in the year of 2013, the first TYT Chicago Monthly Meetup was held, and a legend was born...
Play the TYT Chicago theme song! --->
TYT Chicago began as a simple meetup group for Windy City fans of The Young Turks. We met monthly to share deep dish pizza, good drinks, and talk about the show (and still do.) But as strong friendships began to form, we decided we wanted to get together more often and try different things, so we started to go to places like Comedysportz and the Headquarters Beercade. This trend was kicked into overdrive with the competition that began between us and groups in other cities, in particular TYT Detroit! See the "Special Missions" page to see the sort of wild things we started to do then!
We also have begun to have begun to have a positive effect on the community, as our members have been involved in things like charity marathons and learning fairs for children. We hope to continue to do things to help make Chicago and the world a better place.
And at the end of the day, we'll still get together to drink, talk and have pizza. And always have a blast!
The Young Turks
The Young Turks is the world's largest online news show, created and hosted by Cenk Uygur. To find out more about this incredible online news show that is the reason why TYT Chicago came together in the first place, check out the TYT Network.

Wolf PAC
Many of the people in TYT Chicago are also members of the Illinois chapter of Wolf PAC, an organization dedicated to removing the corrupting influence of money from our political system, and restoring free and fair elections in the United States of America. One such member is Deezle, a.k.a. Richard Lake, who is the Illinois State Leader of Wolf PAC. He's featured in the video below along with Senator William Delgado, who is the chief sponsor of SJR-42 in the Illinois Senate.
It was the members of the Illinois Wolf PAC that were dubbed The Mountain Army.
Chicago members of Wolf PAC are referred to as the Windy City Wolves.
